Media and Sports
The Collyer Bristow Media & Sports team has many years of experience and expertise in the
media and sports markets. Our work covers a wide range of activities in sport, music, publishing,
artist agency and management, image rights and defamation & reputation management, advising a
diverse client base both in the UK and internationally.
Our contentious work includes: acting for a wide range of clients from sportsmen to media
companies, whether as claimants or defendants, in High Court litigation actions involving libel,
privacy, breach of contract, copyright and trade mark infringement cases, as well as sports
disciplinary work and arbitration.
Our non-contentious work includes: negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, event
management and sponsorship agreements, marketing and agency agreements, recording, publishing and
live performance agreements.
